TREMA Adsorber

TREMA adsorber can be equipped with different adsorbents, and are particularly used for separating heavy metals and dioxines/furans from smoke gas.

The smoke gas to be cleaned enters the adsorber and flows through a packed bed. The pollutants that it contains are adsorbed when this takes place.

In order to prevent dew point undershooting and therefore agglutination of the packed bed in the adsorber, the smoke gas is also heated to temperatures above the dew point before entering the adsorber.

TREMA adsorbers can be designed as devices that are flowed through either vertically or horizontally.
