Cyclones from TREMA

TREMA cyclones are centrifugal force separators which are used to separate particles, and are usually used as pre-separators or for reclaiming product. The exhaust air to be cleaned reaches the cylindrical dust removal tube of the cyclone via a helical inlet duct. The dust particles are moved radially towards the outer wall by centrifugal force in the rotational flow which occurs. This outwards movement takes place in the opposite direction to the flow of gas, which is directed radially towards the inside to the immersion tube and the clean gas outlet. The particles in the outer area are transported to the dust discharge. The clean gas flows vertically upwards through the immersion pipe to the gas exit port.
